Cellular

Cellular

Cellular

Internet service travels from a nearby cellular tower to a SIM card within a fixed device.  This is the most flexible option only requiring a reliable signal.  Antennas and signal boosters are available for the most challenging locations.  Service is through leading wireless provider networks.

Cable

Cellular

Cable internet uses the same infrastructure as cable TV, and is typically provided by cable TV companies.  Service is carried over coaxial cable from it's origination point to the customer and then connected to a modem.  Widely available, fast, cost effective, and reliable.

Fiber

point-to-point

Fiber internet transmits over fiber optic cable which is made of glass or plastic.  This technology is faster and more reliable than cable, but it is not as available as alternatives.

Fiber optic cables deliver internet to a dish beaming service over the air to other dishes within range.   Reliable, fast like fiber, and deployment cost is lower than fiber.  This technology is not as available as fiber.
